About Nungesser Lake Lodge

Nungesser Lake Lodge is a boat-in or fly-in camp located approximately 40 miles North of Red Lake, Ontario on its namesake lake. Known for producing trophy Northern Pike and outstanding Walleye fishing, the lake is more than 18 miles long with many weedy bays and points, a portage lake and over 200 miles of shoreline.

You will be greeted at the river landing by our professional and courteous staff who will load your gear into one of our river boats for a short scenic ride up river. From our second landing, you'll enjoy the adventure of riding through the Canadian bush as we take you on a 10 minute trail-ride to our camp.

We are a trophy catch and release camp and are very proud of that policy. We plan for many generations of conservation minded fisherman to enjoy the abundant supply of the lake's trophy fishing for many years to come. We work directly with a taxidermist to have an eye catching replica made of your trophy catch.

Our housekeeping log cabins are clean, modern and outfitted with full kitchens including propane stoves, electric refrigerators, microwaves, all utensils, automatic coffee pots, and toasters. These lake view cabins also include ceiling fans, propane heat, electric lighting, large decks, propane grills and fish cookers. We provide all towels and bed linens. Our lakefront lodge provides additional entertainment with a pool table, satellite TV and plenty of room to relax.

Our full service staff will clean and freeze your day's catch and are on hand to help you in any way. You'll experience the best with our 16' and 18' Alumarine boats with swivel seats, floors and new Mercury Outboards. We provide all pans and grates for you to enjoy a shore lunch at any one of our beautiful picnic areas around the lake.

We offer fully guided fall bear hunts. We ensure our hunters a higher success rate with strategically placed tree stands over active bear baits in an area covering more than 55 square kilometers (approx. 21,000 acres).
